From 2003 to 2009 a bunch of Neapolitan videomakers has documented the so-called waste crisis in the Campania region. To reveal the mechanism, identify actors and responsibilities of fifteen years of extraordinary administration. A show priced billions of euros in damages and several legal actions still underway. Where does the waste of Campania end up? What are the wounds left on the land? And what damages have they caused to the health and lives of the inhabitants? The raid on public funds, the grey areas of democracy, the boycott of recycling policies , the collusion with the ecomafia. The biggest environmental disaster in Western Europe, from the voices of the communities fighting for changing waste management on their land. The proposals of those who are seriously committed to find sustainable alternatives. The question whether âliving in a crisisâ is not just a strategy for the profit of few.
